Type and description of project
New gas processing plant facilities with five trains processing offshore and onshore gas, inlet gas handling, gas sweetening and dehydration, six sulphur recovery trains and associated facilities for sulphur and heavy-duty oil handling, loading, unloading and storage, sour water stripper, flare system, wastewater treatment plant and cogeneration facilities. Four trains processed gas from the Hasbah offshore field development (tie-in platforms, flare platforms and pipelines), with five gas turbines and heat recovery steam generators, two steam turbines, 56 km of 36-inch pipeline, industrial support facilities and a residential industrial complex.
Role in project
Operator / client representative (Aramco Project Management Team) for and on behalf of the Aramco proponent, Upstream Gas Operations. 100% involvement.
